Oracle + Sun? Hmmmmm!

Paul Krill of Infoworld Techwatch reports, “CEOs from Sun Microsystems and Oracle on Tuesday plan to hold a ‘Town Hall’ session at Oracle headquarters in Redwood Shores, Calif. to discuss the vendors’ ongoing partnering plans.”

My present and former employers in a town hall meeting? Both Scott and Larry? Could be interesting.

Actually I think the renewed and improved Oracle/Sun relationship is positive. It gives both companies enhanced market positioning against IBM and Microsoft.

We live in an interesting market where the leaders of both Sun and Oracle are exceptionally talented, strong leaders. I think it is entertaining to watch the dynamics when Scott and Larry get together.
