Does multi-tasking just spread what limited IQ I have around to the different projects I do?  Sometimes I feel like that.

After all the hype I heard this week about the Internet of Things, perhaps this Dilbert strip from mid August puts things into perspective – a use case for Supervisory Control enabled by the Internet of Things.

Empathy: The capacity to recognize emotions that are being experienced by another sentient or fictional being.

Will we ever be led by robots  – with or without empathy?

I doubt that anyone has ever accused Larry Ellison of being a robot.

Poor Dilbert. His social skills just don’t measure up to the smartphone!

On a more serious note, is this so far removed from reality? Is the entertainment value of smartphones and related apps getting in the way of real human relationships?
